「MOVB」を展開する、愛知県・尾州の染色加工企業「ソトー」。 ファッションの染色加工分野におけるリーディングカンパニーである私たちソトーが、新素材として開発したのが、「Optima Merino Jersey(オプティマ メリノ ジャージー)」です。
原料は、希少性の高い極細メリノウール「SUPER 140's」。 16.5マイクロンと非常に細い繊維で、ハイグレードな高級スーツ生地に使われるほどの素材です。 メリノウールの中でも、年間生産量がわずか4％しか確保できないこのレアな素材を、スポーツウェアなどにも使われる「ジャージー」に仕上げました。
伸縮するジャージーならではの快適な着心地。そして、SUPER 140'sの高級感・光沢感あふれる滑らかなテクスチャ―。 100年企業・ソトーが積み重ねてきた加工技術によって完成した、極上の生地です。

Introducing "Optima Merino Jersey," the latest fabric innovation from Soto Co., a leading dyeing and processing company based in Owari, Aichi Prefecture, and a key player in the MOVB brand development.
At the heart of Optima Merino Jersey is the exceptionally rare and fine Merino wool known as "SUPER 140's." This high-grade wool, measuring a delicate 16.5 microns, is typically reserved for the most luxurious suit fabrics. Of all the Merino wool produced annually, only 4% qualifies as SUPER 140's, making it a truly exclusive material. We have transformed this exquisite wool into a jersey fabric, traditionally used in sportswear, to create a product that marries comfort with luxury.
The result is a fabric that offers the stretch and comfort of a jersey, enhanced with the sumptuous texture and sheen of SUPER 140's. This superior cloth is the culmination of Soto's century-long legacy in fabric processing.
